What if a storm or disaster on an alien planet left you stranded there?

What if your main character smuggled some alien contraband into his space station or into his colony world?

What if your main character were a refugee in an alien detention camp and tried to escape?

What if you were the curator of digital human consciousness and one day were asked to destroy an item in the collection?

What if members of your spacecraft or planetary outpost go missing one by one?

What if aliens rescue your main character from a spacecraft that is about to be destroyed but keep him as a zoo attraction?
